Q: What's your name?
Q: How old are you?
Q: What food should I eat to cure my _____?
A: I am not a doctor. All advice given on this blog should be taken with a grain of salt. What works for me and my lifestyle, may NOT work for you and yours. I am able to share the things that have helped me and others out, but that is all. If you have any negative responses to any supplements recommended on this blog, that is your problem - not mine.
Q: Can you help me lose weight?
A: Yes, I can. As of 7/27/18, I have lost 60 lbs with good ol diet and exercise. I do charge money for my services. I will customize a full monthly or yearly meal plan for you based on your diet and weight loss goals. I am able to help you in any way that you need. I can provide a grocery list with listed food groups for you also. Prices are negotiable. I do not charge outrageous prices unless you prefer to bundle!!
ETA: September 30th, 2018 Update: I am no longer doing that due to my focus on food photography rather than health food work.
Q: Why do you post vegan food if you're not vegan? Why won't you go vegan?
A: I post vegan foods due to the fact that I enjoy them. I also enjoy meat. I don't restrict myself with foods due to the fact that I am trying to avoid restricting. I have struggled with an eating disorder in the past, and I've learned to become the healthiest version of myself possible - I must not create rules for myself. I won't go vegan due to the fact I do not feel that the lifestyle is for me. I debate all of the time on if I'm going to go vegan. One day, I may go vegan 100%... But, as of today I am not.
Q: Why did you stop with mainly health food recipes?
A: When I first started this blog, my intentions was to showcase my weightloss journey and new love for health food. I’ve fallen so deep in love with food photography that I just want to photography everything. I do eat everything that I post, but I do a lot of portion control and I try to make sure that I balance the sweets out with vegetables.
Q: How did you start your health journey?
A: When I was pregnant, I gained 70+ lbs. I gained the weight by eating huge portions of watermelon daily. I was so sick to the point where all I could do was drink an entire container of cranberry juice & stuff myself with sour cream & cheese topped baked potatoes. I didn't take good care of myself after giving birth and I kept up the same eating habits that I had when I was pregnant. During pregnancy, you're supposed to focus on your health and your child's health. I didn't do that too well, which I regret. I am famous for a lot of my unhealthy meals, I wanted to change this. Don't get me wrong, "unhealthy" shouldn't be a term in your vocabulary - everything in moderation is IMPORTANT to stay mentally sane. I'm not going to lie, whenever I go to the store I drive myself insane trying to make sure that I pick the healthiest and cleanest food possible. But, I am learning how to change this and live a lifestyle where food is just food.
